Welcome to Final Fantasy XI Answers. What would you like to know?

Very refreshing, a question for directions to a place that is actually hard to find. Since you did not give me a starting point I am going to set your starting point at Telepoint Mea at (I-8) in Tahrongi Canyon. You will proceed south east to the Buburimu Peninsula zone at (K-8). From there you will travel directly east until you get to the other side of the Buburimu Peninsula map. At (K-6) are very close to that coordinate you will find a ramp leading down to the water.

This ramp can be missed easily and less you're looking for it, it is at the northernmost part of the shore and it is the only ramp on this side of the map. Once you've dissented the ramp head straight for the water and then turn left the entrance to the Labyrinths of Onzozo of will be a vertical opening in the rocks on the left-hand side, with the opening facing out to the water.

If this is your first time visiting the labyrinth you will find it to be an interesting place. I used it for a very long time leveling up several of my jobs. I also used it as farming for leveling up my cooking. On top of that a lot of the Mobbs in there are tough enough that if you have some of your skills that are at a low to medium range this is a great place to hone those skills. Be careful when going from room to room, you can get a big surprise from room one room to the next in the level of the mobs. There's mobs in the back of the labyrinth they can take a level 99 out just by sneezing on them.

One final note regarding Treasure Chests, I have encountered more Trapped Chests in the Labyrinth of Onzozo than I have it any other dungeon in FFXI. I pasted the link below to the map with the marks on it for the places for all the valid Treasure Chests spawn points. If you see your chest sitting in an area that is not marked on this map do not open it. Let me repeat that DO NOT OPEN IT. If you do and it is a Trapped Chest (see link below on picking your coffers and chests) you will be hit with a weakness that is worse then a death weakness and it can last up to 2 to 3 hours.

Have fun, I loved spending hours there farming.....oh and the elementals will magic aggro no matter what level you are. Skyfiredancer (talk) 04:08, May 19, 2015 (UTC)
